The right length depends on your desired look, starting length and placement. Since fresh Locs may shrink slightly over time, choosing a little longer often works best.
Choose Your ◐ Quantity
Small Sections are ideal for mohawks, undercuts or smaller sections at the nape of the neck. Typically requires 1-3 sets.
Partial Dreadlocks are designed for attachment up to the top of the head with an open front or open bangs. Typically requires 3-6 sets.
Full Dreadlocks are for a complete application. Typically requires 6-10+ sets.

Human hair loc extensions can last for years with the right care. We recommend washing your loc extensions as often as needed, but as little as possible, depending on your scalp, lifestyle and buildup.
For best results, use a silicone-free, paraben-free shampoo without heavy residue and suited to your scalp type.
If your locs feel dry, adding moisture to the ends can help maintain softness and flexibility. During the first weeks, avoid applying oils directly to the connection point while your locs are integrating.
For loc-specific care, we recommend RAW ROOTs Dreadcare, developed specifically for dreadlocks and loc maintenance.

Yes. Our Loc Extensions are made from 100% human hair and can generally be dyed.
However, we recommend using professional hair dyes and gentle methods to protect the hair structure. Oxidative hair dyes are an option, but they can put more strain on the hair structure and reduce the longevity of the extensions. Our proprietary color formula is specifically designed to achieve a particularly stable and long lasting color result.
