Straight Hair | Spicy Cinnamon

With the right tools, you can use our Straight Hair to create your own Locs, extend existing Locs or repair damaged sections.

What you'll need

• Straight Hair
• Loc Vise to securely hold the hair in place
• Loc Comb for backcombing
• Crochet Hook for compacting and securing the Locs

Step 1 - Prepare the hair

Separate the Straight Hair into sections. The size of each section will determine the thickness of your finished Loc.

Step 2 - Secure the hair

Clamp the hair section securely into the Loc Vise to keep it steady while you work.

Step 3 - Create the foundation

Backcomb the hair evenly using the Loc Comb until it forms a dense, consistent foundation.

Step 4 - Shape the Loc

Roll the hair between your palms (Palm Rolling) to compact the fibers and create a smooth, even shape.

Step 5 - Secure the Loc

Use the Crochet Hook to work loose hairs into the Loc until it is compact, secure and evenly shaped.
