For permanent installs: A slightly smaller diameter usually blends more naturally. For the most seamless result, we often recommend sizing down.
For temporary installs: Keep in mind that thicker locs contain more hair and can feel heavier when braided into your natural hair. If you’re unsure, a smaller diameter is often the lighter, more comfortable option.
Choose Your ⌇ Length
For permanent installs: The right length depends on your desired look, your starting length and placement. Since fresh locs may shrink slightly over time, choosing a little longer often works best.
For temporary installs: Since the locs are braided into your natural hair at the root rather than attached to an existing loc length, the finished look depends mainly on your desired final length.
Choose Your ◐ Quantity
Small Sections are ideal for mohawks, undercuts or smaller sections at the nape of the neck. Typically requires 1-3 sets.
Partial Dreadlocks are designed for attachment up to the top of the head with an open front or open bangs. Typically requires 3-6 sets.
Full Dreadlocks are for a complete application. Typically requires 6-10+ sets.

During the first weeks, avoid applying oils directly to the connection point while your locs are integrating. Our proprietary color formula is specifically designed to achieve a particularly stable and long lasting color result.
