Besides loose human hair, you'll need a few essential tools to create handcrafted Loc extensions, including a crochet hook, Loc Comb and Loc Vise.

Our DIY Loc Extension Kit brings everything together, making it easy to get started with your first Loc project.

The amount of hair depends on the size of your project, the desired Loc thickness and the number of Locs you're creating.

As a general guide:

• Small Sections: From 50 g
• Partial Sets: From 100 g
• Full Sets: From 150 g

Our bulk hair is sold in 100 g bundles. Any remaining hair can be used for future repairs, extensions or custom Loc projects.

The right amount of hair depends on the area you want to cover.

• Small Sections: Ideal for mohawks, undercuts or smaller sections at the nape of the neck.

• Partial Sets: Designed to add Locs up to the top of the head while leaving the front or fringe natural.

• Full Sets: Intended for a complete head of Loc extensions.
